Safe-Ed, LLC:
We are a school security company catering specifically to public
and private school districts. We currently serve the Troy School
District (3 buildings), Rochester Community Schools (4
buildings), Lake Orion Community Schools (3 buildings), Royal
Oak Schools (2 buildings), the Avondale School District (3
buildings), and Regina High School. We are on site every day the
students are there for instruction. We are off summers,
weekends, and holidays, as well as any canceled days (like snow
days). Our "uniform" is a company polo shirt (provided), dark or
khaki slacks, and good walking shoes. Company jackets are also
provided for any outside details. Radios are provided by the
schools. We have specific duties and stations throughout the
school day, including staffing the front visitor check-in desk.
Generally, the team consists of a team leader and three other
staff members. Most of our employees are from the public safety
or education/school fields. We seek mature, experienced
professionals who can remain calm in all situations, are
personable, and skilled at communications. Public safety
experience is a definite plus, but not required. Additional
information on the services we offer is on our website:
www.safe-ed.net.
Starting pay is $15.00/hour. For full-time positions, we ask for
a commitment for the entire school year (or remainder if
starting mid-year). Part-time substitutes may be scheduled in
advance or called the morning of for last minute call-ins. There
is occasional overtime offered for after-school events and such.
We offer limited health care coverage for full-time employees,
otherwise no other benefits are provided.
We have a strict NO WEAPONS policy for our employees. Even if
you possess a CPL, or are former/retired law enforcement, we do
not allow weapons on your person or in your vehicle while
working for Safe-Ed. Violators will be dismissed immediately.
There is also no smoking (including e-cigs, vapes, etc.) or
tobacco products allowed on any school campuses.
School districts require all contracted employees to be
fingerprinted and cleared through the Michigan State Police. If
you have a criminal conviction history, you will not be accepted
for employment.

Dealer Staffing

Dear RDPFFA,
I have recently taken over a funeral removal business in Wayne
county and my father, being a retired Taylor firefighter,
suggested I visit your site. We are drivers that are on call to
removed passed away loved ones from homes, hospitals, and other
places to bring back to the funeral home. A majority of the
employees in this business are retired police officers and
firefighters that still want to work. I feel that your site
offers a perfect spot for gentlemen to have the opportunity to
join our growing company.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you,
Nick McNamee
